About

The fashion industry is sometimes referred to as the second most polluting industry in the world, second only after the oil industry. It’s an inherently un-sustainable industry – everything from production processes to consumerism driving sales, makes it hard to see through a sustainability-focused lens.

However, arising generations are shopping more consciously and considering where their clothes come from. The industry is making a huge shift from its traditional model, to one considering the impact of every level of production and use. This blog is here to document these changes, and evaluate ethical drawbacks and benefits.
